Missy, our sweet gray tabby of 15 1/2 years looks like she’s “helping” me pack for a trip. She was always very interested in my suitcase – laying on it or in it. What she liked most, though, was being in her favorite bed, treats, spending time on my lap while I would read or coaxing my husband to pet her by meowing and greeting him when he would come in the bedroom. What she didn’t like was visits to the veterinarian so we knew we wanted her to be in her favorite surroundings when the time came for her life to end. Thanks to Home to Heaven Missy’s life ended peacefully and we were able to say goodbyes to our beloved girl. We will miss her so but there is joy in knowing she is not in pain anymore. Love you Missy girl!
